But from the 5. dezembre 1921 the women were allowed playing in the stadiums because the men thought, that football is only something for boys and men and the women shouldn’t be support. This was for a time the end of women’s football.
But 1970 the ban was lift. The women could play but with new rules. At winter they had a half year break, they were allowed wearing football shoes and they had small and soft balls. Since 1984 UEFA organize international women’s europe-champion-ships. 1991 were the first women’s world-cup in China. Since 2001 UEFA organize women’s cup too.
In England the best league is the FA Women’s Premiere League which exist since 1992 and the record has Arsenal London.
